Schnitz Racing started in
the 800 square foot Schnitz garage “behind the house” in 1980.
It was open in the evening hours and on weekends. Our move to our present
building in 1990 resulted in the need of full time employees. We have grown not
only in employees, but have acquired neighboring buildings that have boosted our
floor space to 23,000 square feet. Schnitz Racing has fifteen full time
employees ready to serve you.
Forty networked computers, 25 telephones, and 12 phone lines give us the
communication necessary to properly service our customers. Our website, Schnitz
Racing.Com has over 11,000 parts online, available to customers all over the
world.
We currently sell to over 32 foreign countries.
Our current inventory of over $600,000 of product helps us provide our customers
with same day shipping required in this type of business.
Schnitz Racing offers you the best in technical support on all of the parts and
accessories we sell. Ryan, Nick, and Kevin are available daily to answer your
any tech questions.
Schnitz Racing is one of the largest motorcycle performance parts retailers in
the U.S.
We work with inventors and innovating individuals that come up with new
products, to try and help them make money, so they can continue make more new
products. We try and do a new product release every week, sending it to all the
racing web sites, and mailing out new color flyers to the customers that might
be buyers.
We have an extensive data base of over 67,000 motorcyclists that have requested
a catalog or information about our products. Our custom computer program allows
us to sort the customers not only by motorcycle type, but also by their spending
habits, so that we are not just sending flyers to everyone on our list.
We also have over 10,000 customers on our e-mail list, that we send b-weekly
sales flyers too, along with the new product releases.
We have our own in house graphics department, and do all of our own Web site
development
here in house.
Both our e-mail list and our customer list increases 40-50 people per week.
Having an extensive relationship with the manufacturers, we can offer the latest
products and give you more information about them before our competition even
know they exist.
Schnitz Electronics brings to you the latest in nitrous controllers, and other
performance electronics. We currently manufacture nitrous controllers for
Edelbrock, Nitrous Express, and Holly/Nitrous Oxide Systems. We make ignition
controllers, timing retard units, engine kill units, and throttle positioning
switches under our own banner.
More electronics are in development including a new nitrous controller and
ignition unit, the Pro Series III, that will work on any 4 cylinder motorcycle.
Schnitz Racing annual sales of over $4.5m have been increasing the last two
years by 5%, and so far in 2008, our sales are 15% over last years record sales.
We change our marketing plan according to the economy. Even if you have 20%
unemployment, there are still 80% of the people working. We go after the 80%.
