2007 AMA Dragbike Pro Rookie of the Year

    I’ve been racing a lot of years and Schnitz has always been there with the parts needed to keep us on the right track. All the way back when I had my first race bike a GS750 dragbike running 10.50’s. After some 15 years we are now running Pro-mod and Top-gas. Its real had to remember all the parts and services we have received from Schnitz but we have always had some sort of build going on where the parts that we needed were just a phone call away. It is a great honor to be associated with Schnitz Racing a company that has supported us and the entire Drag race community for so many years. Through the years I’ve raced everything from super gas to Pro-mod in the AMA and Street bike Shootout at the local tracks. And always had great service and the quickest shipping on all my parts from Schnitz. 
   The 2007 racing season we seen our share of the UP’s and Downs of Pro-mod. With it being our rookie year in the Pro’s and running a complete schedule it proved to be a great learning experience for our team. With out a clue we have developed a pretty good tune up running consistent 1.08 sixty foot times and 4.3’s in the 1/8 mile. The elusive 6 second pass was achieved at the world finals in Gainesville running a 6.99 for the WIN in the first round of elimanations against the #1 qualifier Marco Adreano. It was a huge step proving to ourselves we can build and tune a contender. 
   I thank my family for all there support over the years and Greg for tuning this monster and Schnitz for all they do for the sport of Motorcycle drag racing.
